Kian, wee!

Having listening to the song "Amazing" today like, 43 times, I went to a fansite and searched for yummy pictures of Kian Egan. Heh.

I've always loved Kian with short hair. And this picture is like, YUMMY! :P

Though, I can't remember whether I preferred his long hair to short hair. LOL. He looks different, but extremely handsome in this one. Heh.

Okay well, those are all, lol.

P/S: Mir, what the heck happened to Wild Thing aka Kian-Egan.org? :(

My webcam rocks!

I think I'm addicted to taking photos, thanks to the nifty intergrated web cam on my laptop. Heh.

wee! Us at the library. This is where I usually get my wireless connection at (apart from my dorm room, heh).

We took this photo when we were doing our group assignment. Assignments...bleh.

I love my webcam. I'll be taking more photos next time if you want to be entertained again (or not). :P

I had my Al-Quran and Usul Fiqh tests last Friday. Alhamdulillah, I can answer the questions with ease. Next week will be my Islamic Studies test. Pray for me, aight? I need to get really good marks for these tests; it will be included in my final semester exams. Eek!

Anyway, I have to go now. Be good, everyone.

Salams.

None down. 3 more to go.

Alrighty, so it was what, a week since my last entry? Bleh.

I don't think I'm going to be blogging everyday, until I have secure internet wireless connection in my hostel. I have yet to buy the M1 wireless modem to use in my dorm room. God, I really think I need to be reminded to purchase it. *writes note on hand*

I'm supposed to be doing my assignments, by the way. Heh. But I've decided to go online - for a while - to keep in touch with my old schoolmates. Damn, I miss them so much.

My first semester's ending soon. And so far, the subjects have been, well, okay. I love all of them, but favourites are favourites, right?

Usul Fiqh - Not one of my favourites, but it's really great to know how the Islamic law was being extracted from the Quran and Hadith. I do enjoy studying it; the only reason why it's not in my list of favourites is because of the lecturer! LOL. I mean, don't get me wrong; Ustaz Fathi Khalifa is a good teacher. But he's a pure arabian, and we spend most of the time trying to understand what he's saying! Meh.

Arabic - Ah, definitely one of my favourite subjects. Inspirational. :) Plus, Dr. Jamaluddin is just the best aracic teacher ever! We totally understand him, although he's also from Cairo. Heh. It's fun studying from him. :)

English - English has always been a favourite. You know that. :P

Malay - Okay seriously, not cool. Boo. Enough said.

Islamic Studies - I love this subject, because Ustaz Selamat is the most funniest teacher I've ever met. He makes the class alive. Love it.

History of Malaysia - Okay no offence, Malaysians. But I'd rather major in the history of Singapore. :/ And I loathe studying the history of Singapore. Go figure.

Al-Quran - For this semester, we would have to memorize the first juzuk - one maqra' every week. So just for my first year (2007/2008), I'd have to finish memorizing the first and second juzuks. Three years here means six juzuks. It's heavy, I know. But the school is just trying to get us prepared for Al-Azhar. Since I would only be studying for my final year there in Al-Azhar, and final year students over there have to memorize juzuks seven and eight, I really think that the system in Marsah helps.

Hmm...those are the subjects for this semester. Fiqh Sunnah, Panel Code, Civil Law, etc will be included in the next semester. I think next semester will be heavier. Eek!

Anyway.

Friends, I've added most of your links to the right of this blog. Add me too, aight? ;P

Salams.

First timer? Whatever.

Okay, this is weird.

I kept telling myself countless of times to not get a blogspot account.

But I did.

And I'm writing my first blog entry on a blogspot account.

I've written millions of blog entries on my personal site and I had wanted to keep it that way.

But.

I guess a change won't hurt. Will it?

Anyway.

I just got myself a brand new laptop. It's been a while since I spent so much money on something. It makes my stomach churn. But assignments keep flying their way towards me and hitting me on the head. There's like a new assignment every week from the lecturers. *pulls hair* And seriously, they're much easier to manage with a laptop. I can even work on them while walking home. Okay, not really. But you know what I mean. Heh.

I miss my friends. I'm glad to those who still take the time to reply my messages (whether they are sent from phone, e-mail, or friendster), although I don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that they're busy. But it does upset me that a couple of them choose to ignore those messages. Oh well, life is life.

Hmm...6 months in a tertiary school. It's unbelievable that time flies by so fast. It seems that it was only yesterday that students of Secondary 5 Iman of Madrasah Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiah were crying their eyes out on graduation day. Heh. But I guess with just a blink of the eye, 3 years will pass, and I will be on my way to Al-Azhar, Insya'allah.

Being a law student has been, well, not easy. Islamic Jurisprudence is something that people are always asking on. You're gonna have this sense of being responsible to know and to answer questions from people on things related to the Islamic law. On the other hand, it kind of makes things easier. You are able to answer questions from general people with ease. And at the end of the day, it makes you feel good to know that with the help of Allah, you've managed to have someone understand the hukum of various things, and that they can be a better practising Muslim because of that, hopefully.

Anyway.

I think I have to go now. Don't you think it's a better idea to get back to assignments? Yeah, I thought so.
