I don't think it needs a rocket scientist to figure out that I haven't updated this thingie in a very long time. Haha.

Anyway, my final exam results for my first year in college are finally out! I was actually going crazy over the number of times the release date of the results were being postponed. Well, it came out on Wednesday and I nearly scored a GPA of 4.0, but yeah, I didn't. My GPA was only 3.67. Boo. Though, I scored 4.0 flat in seven of the subjects that I took. Hee.

I'm starting my second year, which is my 3rd and 4th semester, I believe, this June. And I canNOT wait. Focusing on part-time jobs and websites can be monotonous, I just realized.

I'm still in my two-month semester break, and I know that I'm supposed to post more entries into this blog, but I'm not. Heh. Laziness might be one reason, but seriously, sometimes I just don't know what to blog about.

I'm weird that way.Sheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1626570376363069022.post-5924278346740283132008-01-05T10:01:00.000-08:002008-01-05T10:15:40.952-08:00Happy 2008!Okay, I don't think it doesn't require a rocket scientist to figure out that it's been forever and one since I've updated this blog of mine. Haha.

But anyway.

School is this Monday. BOO. Oh, speaking of school, I haven't informed you of this semester's subjects, have I?

1. Al-Quran (2nd juzuk)
2. Fiqh Kitab
3. Fiqh Muqaran
4. Fiqh Ibadat
5. Qa'atul Bahas
6. Ulum Quran
7. Tauhid
8. IT (Haha, yes. Seriously.)

And yeah, that's about it. LOL. :) My favourite subjects? They have got to be Fiqh Ibadat and Ulum Quran. Oh, and IT too. Hee.

In not lighter news, my laptop has been stolen. I had it secured in a locker at the library, because I wanted to do a lot of research in the library but I wasn’t going to use the internet. Plus if you must know, it was a very heavy laptop, and carrying it while I run around the place in search of books is not ideal. So anyway, when I returned a few hours later, my laptop was gone. There was no sign of force entry on the locker door, so I’m still scratching my head over that. A police report has been made, so I’m crossing my fingers that my beloved laptop will be retrieved.

My aunt bought me a new laptop just yesterday afternoon, though. I’m really thankful for that. She told me to accept it as a “New Year gift”, LOL. I love my aunt.

Along with a new laptop, I got myself a new phone! Sony Ericsson W960i, baby! I had been staring at the model at every little phone store I passed by for the past month, haha. It is very much like an iPhone, only slightly cheaper, I think. Or is it more expensive?

Anyway, it’s bed time for me now. I’m going to end this post by saying that it sucks that I’m still undecided on my New Year resolution. What is yours?

Happy 2008, everyone!Sheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1626570376363069022.post-28371264920748186092007-10-27T07:57:00.000-07:002007-10-27T08:03:55.310-07:00Catching up on things.I sat for my last paper yesterday morning, after going to bed at 2am the night before. My head still hurts from studying too much. Boo.

But it was definitely worth it, hee. The paper was easy, it was a breeze answering all questions. So, yay! I'm hoping for a really good grade for this paper, and all of the other papers as well; I would be severely disappointed if I don't.

But hey, exams are over! And I seriously can't wait for the new semester to start. Hee.

Bleh, I need to catch up on a lot of stuffs. I hadn't really checked e-mails, return comments, watch Grey's Anatomy, etc since I sat for my first paper on October 1, lol. My e-mail inbox is now full of junk and spam, so I need to clean those up and reply to some very important e-mails. Also, I haven't returned 12 comments, unfortunately. So I need to do that fast, before I get new ones. Heh. AND, I missed 2 episodes of Grey's, so I have to catch up on that too.

Those, plus a lot of other things as well. Meh.

Ooh, those with Friendster accounts, please do tell me if you wish to view my private photos on Friendster. Just use the nifty tagboard, aight? :PSheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1626570376363069022.post-25829858250311624492007-08-31T09:52:00.000-07:002007-08-31T10:05:32.936-07:00Unbelievable.Okay so I finally delivered my speech. I wasn't shaking in front of 748374832 people, like I thought I would. So I think it went really well, heh. My friends told me I was a-mazing up there. And go me for not tripping on stage, LOL. It was not my first speech competition, but I get nervous all the time about different things.

The results of the competition was announced the day after and guess what? I won first place! XD *dances around* I'm still recovering from the shock, and you know what's interesting? It was then that I started shaking, lol. I haven't got my gold whatever yet, but oh my gosh, yay! Who knew blabbering about "Global Warming" in front of 432748347 people was well worth it? Heh. XD

And in celebration, my friends took me to Pizza Hut (because I haven't been there in AGES) and gave me a tasty, satisfying treat. Yu-mmy.

Oh well, I think I'd have to go eat something; I can hear my stomach. Can you? lol.Sheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1626570376363069022.post-66054361820506630172007-08-17T07:24:00.000-07:002007-08-17T07:57:06.738-07:00Okay seriously. We're really not into seals. Honestly. There have definitely been a lot of things going on. Though, I can't seem to find the strength nor the words to use to type them all up. Bleh.

Anyway, July 31 was my first visit to the Singapore Zoo since like what, 2000? Heh. :P

It wasn't my idea; it was my seniors', lol. They were all planning to hang out together during the one-week holiday we would be having then, and Singapore Zoo came into mind. Probably since they hadn't been there for ages also, hah.

We took a lot of pictures, I must say. Though, I can't possibly post all of them here. So take what you get, I guess. LOL.

Two girls and a seal, lol. Me and Kak Linda. (She's a third year Islamic Law student, if you must know.) This is the first picture we took when we arrived. Haha.

Now, that is a real Giant Turtle. From left: Kak Syarfa, Kak Linda, Kak Huda, Me, Kak Wani and Kak Fid. (Except for Kak Syarfa, who's a third year Islamic Law student, all of them are third year Islamic Fundamentals student.)

<img src="http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/8370/zoo3sq0.jpg" border"0">

SEALS again, lol. This is one of the last pictures we took. You can probably see from our faces that we were damn tired already. LOL.

Those are all for pictures. I would probably post more on Friendster. In other news though, Inconsolable will hit the radio on August 27, wee! Well, at least in the US. Oh and in case you've been living under a rock, Inconsolable is BSB's new single. Yep, they're fortunately releasing their new album somewhere in October. Yay!

*jumps around*

P/S: Maybe I should transfer my blog to Wordpress. Because Wordpress is love. :DSheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1626570376363069022.post-72899364392697489172007-07-22T09:12:00.000-07:002007-07-22T09:21:52.045-07:00Kian, wee!Having listening to the song "Amazing" today like, 43 times, I went to a fansite and searched for yummy pictures of Kian Egan. Heh.

I've always loved Kian with short hair. And this picture is like, YUMMY! :P

Though, I can't remember whether I preferred his long hair to short hair. LOL. He looks different, but extremely handsome in this one. Heh.

Okay well, those are all, lol.

P/S: Mir, what the heck happened to Wild Thing aka Kian-Egan.org? :(Sheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1626570376363069022.post-7812866429491378102007-07-21T03:38:00.000-07:002007-07-22T09:22:18.120-07:00My webcam rocks!I think I'm addicted to taking photos, thanks to the nifty intergrated web cam on my laptop. Heh.

wee! Us at the library. This is where I usually get my wireless connection at (apart from my dorm room, heh).

We took this photo when we were doing our group assignment. Assignments...bleh.

I love my webcam. I'll be taking more photos next time if you want to be entertained again (or not). :P

I had my Al-Quran and Usul Fiqh tests last Friday. Alhamdulillah, I can answer the questions with ease. Next week will be my Islamic Studies test. Pray for me, aight? I need to get really good marks for these tests; it will be included in my final semester exams. Eek!

Anyway, I have to go now. Be good, everyone.

Salams.Sheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1626570376363069022.post-88407370049395181072007-07-13T20:10:00.000-07:002007-07-14T00:43:49.939-07:00None down. 3 more to go.Alrighty, so it was what, a week since my last entry? Bleh.

I don't think I'm going to be blogging everyday, until I have secure internet wireless connection in my hostel. I have yet to buy the M1 wireless modem to use in my dorm room. God, I really think I need to be reminded to purchase it. *writes note on hand*

I'm supposed to be doing my assignments, by the way. Heh. But I've decided to go online - for a while - to keep in touch with my old schoolmates. Damn, I miss them so much.

My first semester's ending soon. And so far, the subjects have been, well, okay. I love all of them, but favourites are favourites, right?

Usul Fiqh - Not one of my favourites, but it's really great to know how the Islamic law was being extracted from the Quran and Hadith. I do enjoy studying it; the only reason why it's not in my list of favourites is because of the lecturer! LOL. I mean, don't get me wrong; Ustaz Fathi Khalifa is a good teacher. But he's a pure arabian, and we spend most of the time trying to understand what he's saying! Meh.

Arabic - Ah, definitely one of my favourite subjects. Inspirational. :) Plus, Dr. Jamaluddin is just the best aracic teacher ever! We totally understand him, although he's also from Cairo. Heh. It's fun studying from him. :)

English - English has always been a favourite. You know that. :P

Malay - Okay seriously, not cool. Boo. Enough said.

Islamic Studies - I love this subject, because Ustaz Selamat is the most funniest teacher I've ever met. He makes the class alive. Love it.

History of Malaysia - Okay no offence, Malaysians. But I'd rather major in the history of Singapore. :/ And I loathe studying the history of Singapore. Go figure.

Al-Quran - For this semester, we would have to memorize the first juzuk - one maqra' every week. So just for my first year (2007/2008), I'd have to finish memorizing the first and second juzuks. Three years here means six juzuks. It's heavy, I know. But the school is just trying to get us prepared for Al-Azhar. Since I would only be studying for my final year there in Al-Azhar, and final year students over there have to memorize juzuks seven and eight, I really think that the system in Marsah helps.

Hmm...those are the subjects for this semester. Fiqh Sunnah, Panel Code, Civil Law, etc will be included in the next semester. I think next semester will be heavier. Eek!

Anyway.

Friends, I've added most of your links to the right of this blog. Add me too, aight? ;P

Salams.Sheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1626570376363069022.post-60464296591842001292007-07-07T12:13:00.000-07:002007-07-13T20:22:02.814-07:00First timer? Whatever.Okay, this is weird.

I kept telling myself countless of times to not get a blogspot account.

But I did.

And I'm writing my first blog entry on a blogspot account.

I've written millions of blog entries on my personal site and I had wanted to keep it that way.

But.

I guess a change won't hurt. Will it?

Anyway.

I just got myself a brand new laptop. It's been a while since I spent so much money on something. It makes my stomach churn. But assignments keep flying their way towards me and hitting me on the head. There's like a new assignment every week from the lecturers. *pulls hair* And seriously, they're much easier to manage with a laptop. I can even work on them while walking home. Okay, not really. But you know what I mean. Heh.

I miss my friends. I'm glad to those who still take the time to reply my messages (whether they are sent from phone, e-mail, or friendster), although I don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that they're busy. But it does upset me that a couple of them choose to ignore those messages. Oh well, life is life.

Hmm...6 months in a tertiary school. It's unbelievable that time flies by so fast. It seems that it was only yesterday that students of Secondary 5 Iman of Madrasah Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiah were crying their eyes out on graduation day. Heh. But I guess with just a blink of the eye, 3 years will pass, and I will be on my way to Al-Azhar, Insya'allah.

Being a law student has been, well, not easy. Islamic Jurisprudence is something that people are always asking on. You're gonna have this sense of being responsible to know and to answer questions from people on things related to the Islamic law. On the other hand, it kind of makes things easier. You are able to answer questions from general people with ease. And at the end of the day, it makes you feel good to know that with the help of Allah, you've managed to have someone understand the hukum of various things, and that they can be a better practising Muslim because of that, hopefully.

Anyway.

I think I have to go now. Don't you think it's a better idea to get back to assignments? Yeah, I thought so.

*waves*Sheedahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08210028038644225782noreply@blogger.com0
